Earth Tech Enterprises is seeking an experienced Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead safety programs across our mining, marine, and site development operations.
This role is responsible for strengthening our safety culture, ensuring regulatory compliance, and partnering with operations leaders to proactively identify and manage risk across active construction and mining projects.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the Company Safety Program
Manage and continuously improve Earth Tech’s Health & Safety Program.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, MSHA, DOT/FDOT, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain company safety policies, procedures, and safety documentation.
Field Safety Leadership
Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Partner with project managers and superintendents to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
Provide hands-on safety coaching and leadership in the field.
Training & Workforce Development
Coordinate and deliver OSHA and MSHA safety training.
Conduct new hire safety orientation.
Maintain training records and certifications.
Incident Investigation & Reporting
Lead incident reporting and investigation processes.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
Maintain safety records and compliance documentation.
Behavior-Based Safety Programs
Manage the company’s Behavior-Based Safety Observation (BBSO) program.
Track safety observations and trends.
Support employee engagement in proactive safety initiatives.
DOT & Heavy Equipment Compliance
Oversee DOT and FDOT compliance for company trucks and transportation operations.
Maintain required permits, safety records, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications
5+ years of safety leadership experience in construction, mining, or heavy civil environments
Strong knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and DOT regulations
Experience conducting incident investigations and safety training
Ability to work effectively with both field teams and leadership
Preferred Certifications:
CSP (Certified Safety Professional)
CHST or OHST
MSHA Trainer Certification
Work Environment
This role involves a combination of office and field work, including regular visits to construction sites, mining operations, and marine projects throughout Southwest Florida.
