Earth Tech Enterprises is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Mine Mechanic to support our mining and aggregate operations.
If you’re a mechanic who can diagnose problems, work independently, and keep equipment running in tough environments, this is a strong opportunity with steady work and a solid team.
What You’ll Do
- Diagnose and repair heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and dozers
- Troubleshoot diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment running and minimize downtime
- Respond to field breakdowns and support production needs
- Complete routine service work (fluids, filters, inspections)
- Perform welding and fabrication as needed
- Maintain accurate work orders and repair documentation
- Work closely with operators and supervisors to keep equipment online
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment or diesel mechanic
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hydraulics, engines, and electrical systems
- Experience working on equipment such as CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, or similar
- Ability to work both in the field and in the shop
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
